A Little Bit at a Time

My roller derby short story is coming along nicely, I think. I’m hoping to finish it in early April and get some suggestions for editing, so I can send it out. I’m not sure if the tense is right. I feel like something is wonky with it. There’s so much for me to learn about writing and it seems there is new information every day.

I started cleaning up my tagging and categorizing on this blog. I’m hoping to improve my SEO some by doing so.

As it’s April Fool’s Day, I’ve been ignoring most social media unless it is clearly not an April Fool’s joke. Someone created a hate site on Facebook in December and claimed today it was an April Fool’s joke. That’s highly unlikely. Facebook has since forced the removal of the site, thankfully.

I tried to buy dairy-free cheese popcorn today, but it seems that flavour is only available at Costco. I’m planning to double check that there is no yeast of any kind in it and see if my parents can pick some up for me though it might be wise for me to get some things from Costco like broth… Maybe I should consider getting my own membership.

I have been working diligently to get my condo clean. My back and neck are killing me and there’s still tons to go.

On Monday I felt like the week was crawling. Now I feel like the weekend is coming a little quickly as I’ve not planned much for my visit with the parents in the sense of food. At least I have tomorrow afternoon and evening to get ready.

I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend whether you celebrate Easter or not.

I have a few things planned and I’m looking forward to them.

Off to do a load of dishes and some reading.

Ciao,
R~
